India beat West Indies 2-0 in their two-match series. Here is what the 2025-27 World Test Championship points table looks like after the result.
Batting first, India mounted a total of 518-5. Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone with a mammoth 175, his fifth 150-plus score in Tests; only Don Bradman has scored more before turning 24. Shubman Gill then cashed in with an unbeaten 129. Five of Gill’s 10 Test hundreds have come since he took over as India’s Test captain in June.
In response, West Indies could only manage 248, following Kuldeep Yadav’s 5-82, aided by Ravindra Jadeja’s 3-46. After India enforced the follow-on, the tourists put up a fight with twin centuries from John Campbell (115) and Shai Hope (103). A collapse saw them slip to 311-9, but a 79-run last-wicket partnership between Justin Greaves (50*) and Jayden Seales (32) frustrated India.
Chasing a target of 121, India took their time, getting over the line on the fifth morning with seven wickets in hand.

With that win, India's PCT increased to 61.90, drawing them closer to second-placed Sri Lanka, who have a PCT of 66.67. West Indies, meanwhile, remain last among teams who have played so far, with five straight defeats.
The points table will see further movement following the conclusion of the ongoing Test between Pakistan and South Africa, which is the first match of the cycle for both teams.
