The morning after the IPL 2025 final, Musheer Khan struck with his third ball in the T20 Mumbai league.
It was close to midnight on June 3 when Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad to lift the IPL trophy for the first time. The presentations went on to the early hours of June 4.
Musheer, part of the Punjab squad, had played only once in the league – in the Qualifier 1 against RCB on May 29. Coming on as an Impact Player for Prabhsimran Singh, he fell for a duck, but dismissed Mayank Agarwal as RCB chased down a target of 102 in 10 overs. However, he did not play in the final.
