The 2025 Pakistan Super League will get back underway today (May 17), with Peshawar Zalmi set to take on Karachi Kings in Rawalpindi. Here are the updated team standings ahead of the tournament's resumption.
The tournament will resume after a tensions between India and Pakistan were de-escalated by a ceasefire last week. After it was originally suspended, the PCB planned to move the competition to the UAE to conclude, but are now able to resume matches in Pakistan.
The last match to take place in the league stage was Quetta Gladiators' crushing victory over Islamabad United, where Quetta stormed to a 109-run win to qualify for the playoffs. There are four matches left before the playoffs, which will take place from May 21, with the tournament final on May 25 in Lahore.
Karachi currently sit in second place in the table, three points behind Quetta. A win against fifth-placed Peshawar Zalmi would give them a greater chance of finishing in the top two, and likely seal their place in the knockout stage. A win for Peshawar would put them above Lahore and into a tie for second place in the standings.
