Quetta must win today to have any chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Much of that will depend on top run-scorer Hasan Nawaz, as well as the spin twins, Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq. Karachi may also be in trouble if they fail to win, and if leggie Adam Zampa has recovered from illness, he should return to the lineup. The opening duo of David Warner and Jason Roy could also have a big say in today's match.
Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore, April 25, 7:00pm local time
Qualification is at stake for Lahore in the evening game; Peshawar have already qualified but have the chance to complete a PSL first by going unbeaten in the group stage. Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis with the bat, and Sufiyan Muqeem with the ball have been exceptional for them this season. Lahore will be depending on Shaheen Shah Afridi to get the breakthroughs up front, and Fakhar Zaman – who has found some form of late – to counter the threats of Muqeem and the exhilarating teenage quick Ali Raza.
