Islamabad are heading into the game on the back of a comprehensive defeat in their opening encounter against Multan Sultans, where they made 171-8 and lost by five wickets with more than an over remaining. Salman Mirza was particularly expensive, conceding 49 runs in three overs. IU would hope he finds his rhythm back. On the batting front, both senior all-rounders Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim had poor outings in the previous game which they'd like to turn around.
Peshawar had a much better start to their campaign, chasing down a mammoth 215 against Rawalpindiz. The most promising aspect of their victory was that almost every batter contributed, with five going past 30 and another batter crossing 15. They'll want to build on the momentum and reach the top of the points table with a second victory tonight.
