In this quiz, you have to name every left-handed batter who has scored a double hundred in men’s Test cricket in the 21st century.

The highest 21st-century Test score by a left-handed batter is also the highest Test score of all time – an unbeaten 400 by a West Indies captain against England in 2004. The legendary batter also holds the record for the highest first-class score – his iconic unbeaten 501 for Warwickshire in 1994.

Only two batters feature in the top 10 list twice: West Indies’ second-highest run-scorer across formats, and Sri Lanka’s leading run-getter. The West Indian holds the fourth-highest and sixth-highest individual Test scores for his 333 against Sri Lanka (2010) and 317 against South Africa (2005). Another Australian opening great also features on the list, bringing the total number of 300-plus individual scores since 2000 to six. That number increases to 75 when the cutoff is lowered to 200 runs in an innings since the start of the century.
