One of two venues in London, the Kennington Oval hosted the first Test match in England, in 1880, becoming the second venue in the world to host Test cricket, after the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In 2017, it became the fourth venue to host a hundred Tests. 2023, it hosted the ICC World Test Championship final.
