Biography
The Hampshire County Cricket Club was founded in 1863 and represents the historic county of Hampshire in the County Championship. Their home ground is the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. Having first played Twenty20 cricket in 2003, Hampshire went on to win their domestic T20 competition in 2010. Later in 2012, they won the title for the second time in three seasons, beating Yorkshire by 10 runs in a nail-biting encounter. Eventually, they made their way to the Champions League T20 in the same year.
